Diploma of Remedial Massage Returns

The ever popular, Diploma of Remedial Massage course will be offered again in 2019.

Remedial massage is one of the most popular forms of massage in Australia. A remedial massage therapist works with clients who have soft tissue dysfunction, such as aches, pain or tension, or who have musculoskeletal imbalances or restrictions in range of motion.

No prior experience is needed for this diploma and at the end of training you’ll be qualified to work at a remedial massage clinic or start your own business. This qualification, through 911±¬ÁÏÍø, is recognised by the Australian Natural Therapist Association (ANTA). ANTA members are regarded as the benchmark in Natural and Traditional Therapies and as a result are recognised nationally by over 50 health funds and WorkCover authorities.

Training will be delivered at our Laman Street campus in Newcastle, where a dedicated clinic room is available. The elective units have been specifically chosen to provide students with the tools necessary to open their own business, focussing on business planning, operating and marketing as well as working with other professionals in the community.

The course runs over four terms. Term 1 attendance is two days, Term 2 is three days and Terms 3 and 4 are three days and one evening per week. There will be two intakes a year, in January and July.

If you need financial assistance, we have secured several different funding options which you may be able to take advantage of, subject to eligibility and availability.
