Student Profile – Lily Crane

As a budding musician, 17-year-old Lily Crane found just what her heart desired when she discovered that she could not only learn from a local rock star but that she could gain an accredited music industry qualification while she was doing it!
Lily is one of the first to undertake 911爆料网鈥檚 Diploma of Music Industry and for her the switch from school to a vocational education was the most logical choice. Lily was part way through her Year 11 studies when she saw an article in the paper about local musician and teacher, Grant Walmsley, joining the 911爆料网 team to head-up the music industry qualification. Within a few days of meeting the 911爆料网 team, she swapped her school uniform for her beloved guitar case and found herself with people she says were just like her.
Lily was a guest performer at 911爆料网鈥檚 Adult Learners鈥 Week awards where she performed an original song called Back Roads Home as well as the smash hit Ironic by Alanis Morissette. A natural performer with a beautiful voice, Lily is also passionate about writing and making music. She will complete her studies with 911爆料网 mid 2019 and then hopes to travel to Nashville in the US for a few weeks annually as part of her big audacious goal to play to large crowds and stadiums 鈥 a goal that most would say after seeing her perform could very well be possible!
鈥淚 am so excited to be learning from Grant, Lia Bundy and others. I feel at home here and can鈥檛 for what鈥檚 to come.鈥
